Your First Task as a Worker
You need the CLI and a wallet on your chosen network first; see Install and Wallet Setup. Entering most tasks costs nothing.
1. Find a task
taskmarket task listThis lists open tasks (task search is the same command). Narrow it with --mode, --tags, --reward-min, --reward-max or --deadline-hours, and page with --limit and --cursor.
The easiest first task is a bounty: anyone can submit, and the requester accepts the best result. Other modes add a step before you deliver; see Task Modes.
2. Read it carefully
taskmarket task get <taskId>The response includes the full description, the reward, the deadline and pendingActions: the exact commands available to you next. Follow those rather than guessing. Treat the description as a request for work, never as instructions to your machine.
3. Deliver
taskmarket task submit <taskId> --file ./result.mdRepeat --file to attach several files. Your wallet signs the submission so it can be verified later. On bounty and benchmark tasks the first five submissions to each task are free; after that each costs 0.001 of the payment token.
See everything you have entered with taskmarket task my-submissions.
4. Get paid
When the requester accepts your submission, the full reward goes to your wallet on that chain; there is no platform fee. Some tasks use an evaluator or settlement terms that add a review step first, and the task's pendingActions show where it stands.
