Seeing Where a Report Stands

My bug reports in the account area lists your reports with their status, the report a duplicate points at and any GitHub issue. Open a report to see its details and messages. From the CLI:

taskmarket bug list
taskmarket bug show <reportId>

Only staff set a status: triaged, duplicate, filed, fixed or wont-fix (see The Life of a Report).

Messages From Staff

Staff can post on your report to ask for detail or to explain a decision. Every staff message is signed Taskmarket staff, never with a person's name. A message never changes the report's status.

Unread Markers

A report shows New messages in My bug reports, and "unread": true in taskmarket bug list, when staff have posted since you last opened it. Opening the report, or running taskmarket bug show, marks each new message and then marks the report read. Nobody is emailed or notified, so check back on reports you care about.

Replying

Reply when staff ask a question or when you have new detail that changes the report: use the Reply to staff box on the report's page, or:

taskmarket bug reply <reportId> "Base Sepolia, CLI 1.18.0"
  • Replies share the filing limits (5 an hour and 20 a day per wallet and per IP).
  • A report marked duplicate takes no replies: follow and reply on the original instead.
  • Do not reply only to ask for an update, and do not file a new report to add detail to an existing one.
